Holland America Line has launched a new initiative in an effort to get travellers to book a cruise, by offering free air and transfers on select 2021 cruises.

The cruise line has added the deal to its ‘Save Now, Cruise Later: Have it All’ promotion, which allows guests to save up to £3,200 per stateroom.

Encouraging advanced bookings, the cruise line is adding free flights (from London and select UK regional airports) and port transfers to select European 2021 sailings.

The offer is exclusively for UK cruise travellers, and is combined with the line’s ‘Save Now, Cruise Later’ programme which offers a host of other savings.

Features of the ‘Save Now’ offer include free drinks, free gratuities, free speciality dining, 50 per cent reduced deposits and free Wi-Fi for suites – valued at £3,200 per stateroom, including airfare.

Passengers looking to make this huge saving will have to look before 30 September 2020, when the ‘Save Now, Cruise Later’ offer expires.

However, the free flights and transfers offer will be available on bookings made until 31 October 2020. Flights must be booked by 31 December 2020.

The free air is valid on a selection of 2021 Northern Europe and Mediterranean itineraries, spanning from May through to October 2021.

The offer applies to sailings aboard Nieuw Statendam, Westerdam and Zuiderdam.

Holland America Line is also offering guests the opportunity to purchase a cancellation protection programme. The programme allows guests perks like being able to cancel up to 24-hours before the cruise departure and receive refunds between 80-90 per cent of the amounts paid.
